Jennie Ribadeneira is a certified Music Together® teacher and director of Capital City Music Together. She has been teaching Music Together classes since 2004 and was a classroom teacher since 1996. She holds a B.A. in Theater Arts from UC Irvine, an elementary teaching credential and a M.A. in education from Chapman University. Jennie has a broad performance background including three decades of dance training, vocal training and a variety of professional and community musical theater experiences. She is also a beginning pianist.
Jennie discovered Music Together while searching for a parent-child music program for her two children. She is thrilled to bring Music Together to the families of Sacramento and surrounding areas.

photo Sarah Burgess

Sarah Burgess is a registered Music Together teacher. She has been teaching Music Together since 2004 and has been teaching at our Roseville and Rocklin locations since 2008. She has extensive dance training and has performed in California, Japan, New York and Chicago. She plays several instruments including flute, French horn and percussions. Sarah has six years of experience teaching dance to young children. Sarah adores working with kids, and when she is not teaching, she is the office manager of a dance studio.

Emily Strey is a registered Music Together teacher, who has been teaching classes since 2004. In 2007, she achieved Music Together's Cert 1 status, which is an advanced level of teaching certification. Before teaching MT, she was a public school teacher, teaching middle school choir and music in San Mateo, California. During that time she also sang for two years with the San Francisco Symphony Chorus. She holds a B.A in both elementary education and choral music education from Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, WI, where she and her husband are originally from. She is also a classically trained pianist. She loves working with young children, and feels that working with young families is her calling in life. Emily and her husband have been blessed with two daughters, and she looks forward to sharing her love of music and young children with the families of the greater Sacramento area.
